"Shenandoah Serenade"... Works from the Shenandoah Mountains & Valley

The art scenes displayed here are works I have done in an area which I have found to be one of the most beautiful and inspiring on Earth. Rich in history and scenery. The Shenandoah Mountains and Valley.

I used to come out here to the Shenandoah several times a year for a week or two at a time whenever possible. I recently fulfilled a dream to actually live out here in July 2007. Some of the works are from visits but, now most now are from the time I have been a resident here. I live outside the small rural town of Mount Jackson, Virginia on top of a mountain area named Buck Hill. The majority of works are from scenes (especially the autumn ones) within a 4 mile radius of my home. At the base of our little mountain we are surrounded by farms and back gravel roads. Roads with names like- Lutz Hollow, Orchard, Pennywitt, Crooked Run, Pleasant View, Buck Hill and Windfield. On any given morning after first light you may find me on a back road in a black Jeep Cherokee with a black and white dog hanging out the window. I'll be hanging out the other window with camera in hand scanning an area for a scene I feel would make an attractive work of art.

Most of these art works will be contained in a book titled "Shenandoah Serenade". The books will be available "print on demand" and signed by the artist (me). The printer prices to produce the books is fairly expensive so I will be offering them at cost.

 All the works contained here are available as hand-signed, numbered prints. These are high quality giclee process prints with archival quality inks on various artist watercolor papers and dry mounted canvas or stretched canvas prints in various sizes.
